"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful"
There has not been a movement yet in the church. The radical type of movement where people just come together and profoundly change the course of the future. Don't get me wrong, it happens with individuals within the church or even as small groups...but, as a whole, as a body...it isn't there.
There are so many hearts open to adopting children with special needs, so many hearts that are called. Yet, these eager hearts quickly turn to fear because of the financial obligation. It's a costly burden, no doubt.
"This is how we know what love is. Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters." I John 3:16
Compassion on earth. Compassion of the world. To be His hands and feet. He no longer walks this earth...we do. We are His eyes to the world. Ours are the hearts that hold on...the bodies that can do His will.
And something stops us from doing it. We need unity, as a body, to help our people bring these children home. Think about all the lives that could be saved if we acted together.
Please consider doing something for a waiting child...
