Called To Move

"Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked" Psalm 82:3-4

He calls us to move...

He commands us to act...

You can be the most compassionate person, the most sympathetic person and yet, none of that matters.

You are called to move.

And I'll put it out here boldly...you can do more.

I can do more.

I look around at all we have and it is sickening because the truth of the matter is...

Unless we are acting...none of it matters.

All the talking, thinking, feeling is nothing if there is no doing. I will not settle for living a life of luxury while there are thousands...thousands...who do not even have the basics or necessities...

What is compassion without action?

Unloved, hungry, cold, scared, alone.

You can do more...will you move?

The Need Is Great

We have had to wait on the apostilling of one of our documents from out of state. So, we've bought some time. 

We still need $3,000 to submit our Dossier. There is no time for fundraising right now. And yet, the need is great.

I'll be honest...this has been a rough journey. It isn't easy asking for help. It isn't easy fighting for a child across seas when not many people understand why you do it. It isn't easy throwing yourself at the feet of Jesus and begging for His mercy.

But...

It's worth it.

Across the ocean...our blanket has found it's way into Shannon's bed. This beautiful little face is worth the fight. So worth it.
